1. Introducing the First Realease of the ResC4EU B2B Platform - Beta v0.1

This is the first release of the ResC4EU B2B Platform, currently offering basic functionality for SMEs, and giving you a taste of what's to come. While this is not yet a full commercial solution, we're working tirelessly to add more features and improvements in the coming releases. Your input is crucial in helping us refine our Platform. We look forward to delivering more features and improvements in upcoming releases.

1.1 Platform Public Landing Page

The landing page of the Platform is open to everyone, including non-business entities, allowing visitors to explore featured goods and services from selected European SMEs.

The keyword-based search feature enables you to find featured goods and services by searching for the name of the product or service, country, or company name. Currently, our sector-based search is limited to the "14 sectors at risk" as defined by our funding agency. Please note that this sector-based search may not fully meet your expectations, but we are working to expand it to utilize the NACE 2.1 taxonomy of economic activities, providing a more comprehensive search experience.

To initiate a search, simply enter your keyword in the search field and press Enter. You will be redirected to a page displaying the search results.

Please be aware that we are still in the process of onboarding some of our featured companies, which means that access to the full descriptions of their goods and services is currently restricted. If you are not already registered or authorized to use the public dashboards, you will need to register to access the full details of the search results.

We invite you to learn more about our upcoming features designed to enhance supply chain resilience. Simply click the "Learn More" button to access a 1-page description of these exciting developments.

Please take a moment to share your feedback through the Supply Chain evaluation report, available via the "Evaluation Survey" button. Your input will play a significant role in shaping the future of our Platform.

We invite you to register on the Platform.

1.2 User and Company Registration

To register and create a new account, you need to click the “Register” button. The Platform will request minimal information about you: first name, last name, and email address. You will be required to review and accept our Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy.

Once you click “Create your account”, the registration process will begin. You will be prompted to enter a One Time Password (OTP) that will be sent to your email.

To enhance your experience while authenticating on the Platform, we enable a Social Login which is a form of single sign-on reusing existing information from selected third party service such as LinkedIn, Microsoft and X. We also enable you to create a new login account specifically created for our Platform.

Upon completing your registration and authentication on the Platform, you will be welcomed at the Dashboard with only partial access to the services. You will be prompted to submit a “Join Request” to register your company and assign other users within the company.

After clicking the “Send a Join Request for Your Organization” button, the form “Request to Create a Company Account and Assign Selected Users on the Platform” will be accessabile to you. This digital form serves as an official business request to join the ResC4EU Platform.

Note the form “Request to Create a Company Account and Assign Selected Users on the Platform” is scrollable and details will be submitted onyl uppon clicking on the Submit button.

Once the form is submitted, the existence of the business entity will be verified through the European business register. An email will be sent to all recipients listed in the form, notifying them that they can begin using the ResC4EU Platform and its Dashboards.

1.3 Platform Dashboards

Once you've received the email confirming your access, you'll need to authenticate again to begin using the Platform.

After authentication, you'll be directed to our Knowledge Hub, a centralized resource offering a wealth of information and initial Platform market services tailored to your defined roles on the Platform.

We provide gradual onboarding through role-based authentication and capabilities. Initially, we have introduced minor variations in user role capabilities to facilitate the learning curve. This enables you to learn the features and functionality through practical experience, including: Publishing and managing your company details, goods, services, and news; Navigating negotiations at the company level; Viewing your company details and those of the companies you are negotiating with.

The Platform is committed to continuous improvement, with regular updates designed to provide you with feature-rich experience. In the future, you can look forward to exciting new capabilities, such as: Publishing your product catalogues; Uploading photos and videos of your goods and services; Supply Chain Resilience Assessments, and many more.
